A law firm seeks a Transportation Litigation Associate in Costa Mesa, California. This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of transportation, automobile, and trucking cases, collaborating closely with senior associates and partners.

Duties

• Independently manage cases through all litigation stages from inception to trial.
• Attend court hearings, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions.
• Proactively manage client communications throughout litigation.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients and compliance with case management requirements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of California.
• 1+ years of transportation litigation experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience handling discovery for complex matters with substantial knowledge of evidentiary objections.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
