Duties
Manage a caseload of general litigation matters including:
Construction disputes (residential and commercial)
Debt collection defense
Non-compete agreement litigation
Mechanic’s liens and breach of contract claims
Originate and handle your own client matters from intake through resolution
Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and refer cases across other practice areas when appropriate
Participate in firm marketing and client development efforts
Contribute to the collaborative use of firm-wide legal templates, pleadings, and briefs
Maintain professional client communication and case updates
Requirements
3–6 years of litigation experience
Active license to practice law in the State of Pennsylvania (in good standing)
Strong understanding of Pennsylvania litigation processes and legal procedures
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently manage caseload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reliable time management and organizational capabilities
Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, and team-oriented legal setting
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (required)
Skills
General civil litigation and courtroom advocacy
Legal drafting, research, and case analysis
Familiarity with both state and federal litigation practices
Client development and business acumen
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Use of legal technology, including case management and e-filing systems
