Duties

• Handle day-to-day case management responsibilities

• Assist in strategic litigation planning and trial preparation

• Attend and participate in depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings

• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and client correspondence

• Conduct witness interviews and assist in client interviews

• Support discovery review and legal analysis for complex employment matters

• Provide legal advice and compliance counseling to employer clients

• Draft and review employment and separation agreements

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law and labor-related litigation

• Background in handling agency responses, court pleadings, legal research, and motions

• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting

• Experience taking and defending depositions preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Ohio (required)
