Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts for residential and commercial transactions.
• Conduct thorough title examinations and resolve title issues.
• Schedule, prepare for, and attend closings, representing buyers and sellers.
• Prepare and file deeds and related documents via ACRIS.
• Represent financial institutions in loan transactions, including preparation of Closing Disclosures.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, brokers, and lenders.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant real estate law experience.
• Strong knowledge of title, contract law, and closing procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple files efficiently and independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
