Paralegal Support Associate
The candidate will be responsible for: Work with CEO and team of developers to build company's application. Map local court forms and contact courts nationwide for rules and updates. Interact daily with attorneys and their clients to complete bankruptcy documents using company. Serve as an in-house “customer”, using NextChapter frequently and testing out new features before any of our users to provide feedback to the development team. Prepare and file bankruptcies nationwide. Research laws and provide due diligence reports. Investigate and resolve complex client issues. Build rapport with new and existing attorneys and their clients. Generate weekly and monthly petition reports. Must have passion for working in the legal industry. Should have experience using Best Case, EZ Filing, New Hope Software or other bankruptcy software. Must have background in bankruptcy law. Should be able to prepare Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies without software. Must have experience with CRM software, spreadsheets, legal software. Should have 2+ years experience in the legal industry. Paralegal Certificate or equivalent education / experience required. Member of Paralegal Associations is a plus.
