Duties

• Manage personal injury litigation from intake to resolution, including strategy, pleadings, and court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and appellate filings.
• Collaborate on trial preparation, including exhibits, witness outlines, and jury selection.
• Assist with appellate matters, including issue identification and brief preparation.
• Communicate with clients to keep them informed and advocate for their interests.
• Work with paralegals and attorneys to ensure timely case progression.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility).
• 1-7 years of experience in personal injury litigation or related practice, with trial experience preferred.
• Excellence in legal research and writing, with the ability to draft complex motions.
• Strong understanding of litigation and appellate procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
