A law firm seeks a Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join their remote team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for attorneys who are passionate about trying cases and handling high-value personal injury matters in a tech-forward environment.

Duties

• Handle a caseload of serious personal injury and high-exposure matters.
• Manage cases from filing through trial, not just settlement.
• Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and pre-trial filings.
• Take and defend fact, party, and expert depositions.
• Work directly with experts and manage expert discovery.
• Prepare cases for trial and try cases in California courts.
• Communicate directly with clients and develop case strategy.
• Mentor and train junior attorneys and contribute to trial strategy firm-wide.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license.
• 5-7+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Recent PI trial experience with a minimum of 5 trials in the last 3 years.
• Experience handling seven-figure and other high-value cases.
• Strong legal writing, courtroom presence, and client communication skills.
• Comfortable working fully remote with modern litigation technology.
• Organized, self-directed, and accountable without micromanagement.
• Demonstrated interest in mentoring and developing junior attorneys.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar admission.
