Core Responsibilities

• Manage individual dockets across a range of civil matters, with autonomy in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Participate in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial preparation or settlement.

• Take depositions, argue motions in court, and support trial teams in high-stakes proceedings.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, client counseling, and procedural planning.

• Research nuanced legal issues and contribute to the development of legal arguments in briefing and oral advocacy.

• Interface directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel in both remote and in-person contexts.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3–8 years of post-JD experience handling litigation matters at any stage—including personal injury, mass torts, commercial litigation, employment, and more.

• Background in any of the following (or similar) areas is highly encouraged:

  • Worker rights and wage recovery

  • Representative and group litigation

  • Complex injury or product liability cases

  • Business or commercial dispute resolution

  • Consumer legal protections or class actions

• Experience taking or defending depositions, arguing motions, or conducting evidentiary hearings is a strong plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing (or eligibility to waive in).
