The role involves working within a dynamic Litigation Group, focusing on representing insurance clients in general defense work. Duties

• Oversee litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement, arbitration, or trial.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.
• Conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions.
• Provide strategic legal advice in automobile-related, real estate, and employment disputes.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and supporting briefs for various legal proceedings.
• Assist with marketing and business development efforts to drive firm growth.

Requirements

• Active California bar license.
• 1 to 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California bar license.
