A law firm seeks an M&A Litigation Associate to join its team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will engage in meaningful work within the Litigation group, focusing on business and commercial matters.

Duties

• Assist in managing cases from inception to resolution, including legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs and motions.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance legal skills.
• Engage in pro bono work to provide legal assistance to underserved communities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in M&A post-closing indemnity disputes or warranty insurance disputes.
• Experience with M&A transaction documentation and damages calculations.
• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
