Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level associate to join its Litigation Group in Atlanta, Georgia. The candidate will engage with regional and national clients on complex commercial litigation, including healthcare and media matters, as well as First Amendment issues.

Duties

• Engage in complex commercial litigation with a focus on healthcare and media.
• Work with expert witnesses and develop case facts.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft discovery responses, briefs, and motions.
• Participate in trial proceedings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Experience with expert witnesses and fact development.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.
• Admitted to practice in Georgia or eligible for Georgia Bar admission.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Georgia.
