Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive title searches and examinations for residential and commercial properties.

• Advise clients on real estate transactions, offering legal guidance on issues such as zoning, land use, and property rights.
• Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to streamline the conveyancing process.
• Handle post-closing matters, including document recording and resolving any post-closing issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
• 1-6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
• Proven track record of handling real estate transactions and building a book of business.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts real estate laws and regulations.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Massachusetts State Bar Association or equivalent bar association.

Skills:

• Proficiency in conducting title searches and examinations.
• Expertise in drafting and reviewing real estate documents.
• Familiarity with relevant conveyancing software and databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions and relationship building.
• Time management skills to handle multiple conveyancing matters concurrently.
