Coral Gables office of our client seeks litigation attorney with 5 years of Florida substantial litigation experience in County and Circuit Civil Court. The candidate should preferably be admitted in other jurisdictions. Must be admitted to the Southern District of Florida. Must be familiar with defending, drafting and responding to Motions for Summary Judgment. Complete knowledge of the court system, including electronic filing (e-filing), electronic e-service and knowledge of how to review court dockets are needed. Excellent motion drafting and research skills are essential. Familiarity of Judicial procedures in all Florida counties is needed. Familiarity with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, local administrative rules and Florida Statutes (Insurance) is required. Must have experience with defending and taking depositions. Expert deposition experience is a plus. Jury Trial experience is preferred. Familiarity with insurance, contract and procedural Florida case law is preferred. Must be bilingual in Spanish.
