Assistant General Counsel
The candidate will negotiate, draft and review acquisition and divestiture agreements. Negotiate, draft, and review a high volume of commercial agreements including sales, waste disposal, rail transport, IT, procurement, services, and real estate agreements. Provide legal support as needed to all corporate departments, including finance and accounting, operations, energy, environmental compliance, sales and marketing, and human resources and to the facilities. Assess risk in connection with customer, vendor, operations, industry and/or business issues and advise management on appropriate response/action. Manage outside counsel as necessary. Assist and manage complex contract negotiations and various corporate transactions. Assist in various projects and initiatives, as needed.
