The role involves leading all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated legal professional with proven expertise in federal bankruptcy litigation and a strong understanding of court procedures in Florida's Middle or Southern Districts.

Duties:

• Independently manage a caseload of bankruptcy filings, from initial consultation through discharge or resolution

• Represent clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings, including creditor meetings, hearings, and trials

• Draft, review, and file legal documents including petitions, motions, adversary complaints, and reorganization plans

• Advise clients on debt relief options and legal strategies tailored to their financial situation

• Monitor case progress and deadlines while maintaining compliance with court rules and timelines

• Appear in federal bankruptcy court as required

• Maintain accurate client records and case documentation

• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure procedural efficiency

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida

• Admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle or Southern District of Florida

• Substantial experience with federal bankruptcy law and procedures

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple active cases

• Courtroom advocacy and litigation experience in bankruptcy matters

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar

• Federal court admission (Middle or Southern District of Florida)

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy laws

• Strong legal research and analytical skills
