Duties

• Handle complex patent litigation matters, including preparation, analysis, and execution of legal strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes cases, contributing to trial preparation and presentations.
• Draft and file legal documents such as motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Advise clients on patent law and litigation strategy in various industries.
• Engage in negotiation and settlement discussions, as appropriate.
• Manage a caseload of ongoing patent litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective progress.
• Contribute to the development of case strategies and coordinate with expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in patent litigation, with a strong focus on intellectual property law.
• Proven track record of handling patent litigation cases, demonstrating familiarity with case management and trial procedures.
• Experience with complex legal research and analysis, along with drafting high-quality legal documents.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload while maintaining excellent attention to detail and client service.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission to the Texas Bar.
