Location

• White Plains, New York

Duties

• Independently manage a caseload involving:

  • Construction liability, including NYS Labor Law Sections 200, 240, and 241

  • General liability and premises liability claims

  • Auto and transportation litigation

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court appearances and mediations

• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on strategy and execution

• Communicate regularly with clients and provide case status updates

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant defense litigation experience

• Prior experience with NY Labor Law construction claims is required

• Background in general liability and insurance defense preferred

• OSHA hearing appearance experience is a plus

• Proven ability to manage litigation files independently

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of New York

Skills

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and courtroom presence

• Familiarity with legal research tools and litigation software

• Legal project management experience is a plus
