A law firm in Austin is seeking an IP Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of patent-litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, and will be responsible for participating in case analysis, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and assisting in deposition and hearing preparation.

Duties:

• Participate in analysis of underlying patent litigation cases.
• Conduct factual and legal research related to patent matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist in deposition and hearing preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 2-3 years of patent litigation experience.
• Admission to the State Bar.

Education:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
