Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Labor & Employment group. This role involves supporting litigation, class action defense, restrictive covenant/trade secret litigation, and advisory practices. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing abilities, as well as experience handling labor and employment matters.

Location:

• Minneapolis, MN

Duties:

• Assist in labor and employment litigation cases, including class action defense

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Draft pleadings, motions, and advisory memoranda

• Represent clients in court and administrative hearings

• Advise clients on employment law matters, including compliance and risk mitigation

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice in Minnesota (or eligible for admission by practice in Minnesota)

• Minimum of one year of labor and employment advisory and/or litigation experience preferred

• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities

• Experience in class action or complex litigation matters is a plus

• Admission to practice in California is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in Minnesota (or eligibility for admission by practice)

Skills:

• Expertise in labor and employment law

• Strong advocacy and litigation skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Excellent client communication and negotiation abilities
