Job Overview:

The Tort And Insurance Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling insurance litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, evaluating cases, responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiating settlements. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional writing and analytical skills, exhibit a strong work ethic, be highly organized, and communicate effectively.

Duties:

• Drafting and reviewing pleadings
• Evaluating cases
• Responding to discovery requests
• Preparing and arguing motions
• Attending hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Conducting meetings with clients
• Negotiating settlements

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance litigation
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar
