Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Business Group in Atlanta, GA. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a dynamic practice involving mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions.

Duties

• Perform and oversee due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Manage specialists and coordinate transaction closings and post-closing matters.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Engage in general corporate law matters, including entity formation and governance.
• Participate in joint ventures and commercial contracts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in M&A transactions.
• Am Law 100 experience is strongly preferred.
• Admitted to practice in Georgia or eligible to waive admission or sit for the Georgia Bar Exam.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligibility to waive or sit for the exam.
