A law firm seeks a technology specialist or patent agent with 0-3 years of patent prosecution experience to join their Intellectual Property department in Boston, Massachusetts. • Duties
• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in medicinal chemistry, small molecules, pharmaceuticals, synthetic methods, polymer science, and drug discovery.
• Work closely with partners to gain experience in patent strategy, drafting, prosecution, and diligence matters.
• Engage in immediate client contact and assume significant responsibility.

• Requirements
• Advanced degree in Chemistry, preferably a Ph.D.
• 0-3 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass the USPTO registration exam within a year if not already registered.

• Education
• Advanced degree in Chemistry (Ph.D. preferred).

• Certifications
• USPTO registration (or willingness to obtain within one year).

• Skills
• Experience in patent applications related to chemistry and pharmaceuticals.
