A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Garden City, NY location.

Job Overview: The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for supporting the firm's litigation practice, handling various legal matters, and representing clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to litigation cases
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and preparation
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage case files, including organizing documents, evidence, and correspondence
• Attend meetings, conferences, and client consultations as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience
• Must be licensed to practice law in New York
• Juris Doctorate or better from an accredited law school

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
