The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex estate matters.

Duties

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Assist in developing estate plans tailored to client goals and tax considerations.
• Conduct legal research on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage timelines, deadlines, and document preparation with attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate and organized client files.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Maryland.
• Interest or coursework in estate planning, trusts, or taxation.
• Strong legal writing, analytic, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Prior internships, clinics, or clerkships in trusts and estates or tax law are a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in Maryland.
