Product Liability/Toxic Tort Associate Attorney or Senior Counsel

Profile

A law firm in Kansas City is currently seeking a Product Liability/Toxic Tort Associate Attorney or Senior Counsel to join the Technology, Manufacturing, and Transportation business unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation within commercial and product liability spaces, with a focus on Pennsylvania state and federal courts.

Duties:

• Collaborate with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing, and Transportation business unit.
• Handle all phases of civil litigation in commercial and product liability spaces.
• Conducted factual investigations and discoveries related to product liability and toxic tort cases.
• Prepare pleadings, take depositions, and engage in substantive motion practice.
• Provide legal advice and representation specific to Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
• Utilize prior judicial clerkship experience if applicable.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license.
• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on product liability and toxic tort.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Commitment to community involvement.
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.

Skills:

• Litigation experience in Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
