Duties:

• Manage all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial and appeal

• Analyze complex legal issues and draft litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Develop and executea  litigation strategy tailored to each case

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs and reports

• Take and defend depositions, including expert and witness examinations

• Engage in direct client communications and maintain regular updates

• Summarize discovery materials and deposition transcripts

• Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement conferences

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on civil litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in legal analysis, critical thinking, and courtroom advocacy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Advanced legal writing and research abilities

• Excellent oral communication and public speaking skills

• Strategic thinking and sound judgment in legal contexts

• Competence in electronic legal research platforms and case management software
