A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Business Immigration Law to join their team in Santa Monica, California. Remote applicants will be considered, with preference for those able to work Pacific Time Zone hours. The role involves preparing and filing business-related visa petitions, leading client communications, and conducting case reviews.

Duties

• Analyze and communicate options for clients' business immigration needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients during and after the application process.
• Supervise and collaborate with supporting staff to ensure correct application preparation and filing.
• Maintain accuracy for high-volume, rapid turnover cases.
• Assist clients and staff with questions throughout the filing process.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid membership in an applicable Bar association.
• 3-5 years of business immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of various case types, including NIV and IV cases.
• Proven success in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar membership in good standing.
