A Richmond-based law firm is actively seeking a full-time litigation attorney through a legal recruiting partner. This position involves managing cases across personal injury, family law, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. Duties:

• Handle cases from intake through trial, including all stages of litigation

• Conduct factual investigations and discovery processes

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Take and defend depositions

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials

• Maintain frequent and clear communication with clients

• Work closely with legal assistants and paralegal teams to coordinate case strategy

• Participate in internal case reviews and performance improvement efforts

• Contribute to an office culture rooted in strategic problem-solving, professionalism, and client service

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Virginia

• Prior litigation or courtroom experience

• Demonstrated commitment to serving individuals and families facing legal challenges

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar (required)

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written advocacy

• Client-focused approach to case handling

• Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software

• Technological adaptability in a paperless office setting

• Spanish language skills (preferred, not required)

• High attention to detail and strategic thinking
