Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss estate planning goals and develop tailored plans.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
• Advise on tax-efficient strategies for estate and wealth transfer planning.
• Assist executors and trustees in estate and trust administration.
• Oversee distribution of trust and estate assets.
• Prepare and file probate petitions and related court filings.
• Provide counsel on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues.
• Build and maintain client relationships, offering ongoing support.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
• Experience with preparation of transfer tax returns is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.

Skills

• Strong client relations and communication skills.
• Ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
• Knowledge of federal and state estate and tax laws.
