A reputable Santa Barbara-based law firm specializing exclusively in family law seeks an experienced Family Law Litigation Attorney. The selected candidate will manage diverse litigation tasks, actively participate in courtroom procedures, and handle all aspects of family law disputes.

Duties:

• Draft, review, and finalize various litigation documents.

• Manage the discovery process effectively and efficiently.

• Conduct depositions, providing clarity, and maintaining professionalism.

• Represent clients at court hearings and appearances.

• Prepare thoroughly and argue at trial proceedings.

• Handle case strategy and advise clients on litigation procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of dedicated family law litigation experience (Other legal areas will not satisfy this criterion).

• Demonstrated courtroom proficiency and familiarity with family law procedures.

• Proven ability to manage cases independently from initiation to resolution.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing membership with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication.

• Adept at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking under pressure.

• A capable negotiator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
