A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, consumer finance, and construction litigation and a proven track record of handling complex commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution. They should possess exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Conduct fact investigations and legal research for commercial litigation cases.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Manage internal and external deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Prior experience with real estate, consumer finance, and construction litigation is preferred.
• Proven track record of handling all phases of complex commercial litigation cases.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Civil litigation case management experience is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
