A leading law firm in New York is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join its Entertainment Transactions & Finance practice group. This is a hybrid opportunity offering exposure to both high-value corporate and intellectual property transactions in the entertainment industry. Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Draft, manage, and negotiate complex entertainment agreements involving music and other forms of intellectual property

• Advise clients on catalog sales and acquisitions, IP licensing, and transactional strategy

• Support clients through mergers, acquisitions, and financing deals within the entertainment sector

• Collaborate with other attorneys, consultants, and professionals across disciplines

• Participate in day-to-day legal matters involving talent, production, and content creation

• Engage in strategic planning for content development, acquisition, and distribution

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of relevant corporate transactional or entertainment law experience

• Prior experience in catalog sale/acquisition transactions preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters with high attention to detail

• Proven success in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing in New York or eligibility for admission

Skills:

• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills

• Knowledge of intellectual property rights and entertainment industry practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
