Corporate Counsel
The candidate will be an integral part of the business so needs to be extremely comfortable providing counsel directly to business leadership on both legal and business issues. Some specific responsibilities include reviewing and advising on legal, customer experience and regulatory requirements for new business initiatives, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with vendors, providing training to business teams on legal and regulatory matters, evaluating and responding to regulatory contacts, providing legal review of innovative new marketing practices and materials, and streamlining processes for supporting business clients. JD or international equivalent and strong academic credentials. 5+ years as a practicing attorney, with at least two of those years at a major multinational law firm. Solid experience managing and negotiating large and varied commercial transactions. Membership in good standing in at least one state or foreign bar. Experience successfully contributing to cross-functional teams preferred. Experience supporting business teams as they grow and scale. Strong written and oral communications skills and an ability to clearly and simply summarize complex ideas. Strong analytical skills required.
