A law firm is currently seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its team. The firm primarily focuses on Medical Malpractice, Catastrophic Injury, and Personal Injury cases. This position is perfect for a highly motivated attorney with at least 3 years of experience who is eager to take on a diverse range of cases and gain deposition and trial experience.

Duties

• Handle intake calls and client communications
• Maintain and organize case files using case management software
• Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
• Collect, organize, and maintain medical records
• Electronically file legal documents with courts
• Perform miscellaneous day-to-day operations of the firm
• Provide summaries of medical records
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in depositions and trials

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Strong proficiency in typing (80+ words per minute) without looking at the keys
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Education

• Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Valid Bar license to practice in Pennsylvania
