RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the chronological placement of correspondence, legal documents and all relevant file material in the appropriate files according to established policies and procedures. Assist with preparation of files and coordination of file delivery to main office for client audits. Perform basic clerical duties such as chronological filing of letters, documents and general file material. Ensure files are maintained in a clean, neat and organized condition. May be requested to assist with the coordination of closed files to off-site storage. Occasionally, requested to perform data entry, attorney time entry and receptionist relief coverage. Maintain positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff and observes confidentiality of client and Firm matters. Confirm depositions with counsel/doctors. Reserve conference rooms as requested. Process vendor invoices and research vendor invoices in the receipts folder to attach to pre-bills.Perform other related duties as assigned.
