Job Duties:
- Manage real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
- Handle loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
- Provide asset management and workout experience as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with lenders and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents as necessary.
Requirements:
- JD required.
- 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
- Solid experience practicing real estate finance law in a large law firm setting.
- Experience running transactions on behalf of lenders.
- Familiarity with secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
