Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions. Duties:
- Serve as a key member of deal teams, responsible for fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding finance matters.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to achieve client objectives.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions.
- Experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance preferred.
- Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
- Must be licensed and in good standing in Delaware.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Delaware State Bar.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of finance law and transactions.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
- Proficient drafting, reviewing, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
