A well-established law firm in Wilmington, DE, is expanding its litigation team and seeks a driven Associate Attorney to support its insurance defense practice. Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis to craft persuasive defense strategies

• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, claims professionals, witnesses, and court personnel

• Prepare expert and fact witnesses for depositions and testimony

• Maintain a proactive caseload with a focus on resolution strategies

• Ensure clear documentation and timely updates for clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Delaware

• At least 1 year of experience in litigation or insurance defense

• Demonstrated experience in depositions, oral argument, and motion practice

• Proficiency in managing a dynamic case portfolio independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Delaware Bar

• Admission in additional states (e.g., NJ, PA, or WV) is considered advantageous

Skills:
