A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate in Chicago, IL. This role offers the opportunity to engage with sophisticated clients on complex real estate transactions, focusing on data center and energy-related projects. Candidates with experience in data center development and financing are preferred.

Duties

• Draft purchase and sale agreements, especially for power infrastructure contingencies.
• Analyze development issues including power, water, and fiberoptic infrastructure.
• Address zoning, entitlements, permits, and land use matters.
• Close real estate transactions efficiently.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with data center and energy projects preferred.
• Am Law 100 firm experience required.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
