Duties:

• Represent clients in various courts, particularly in landlord-tenant, creditors’ rights, and civil litigation matters.
• Provide support to staff and assist in case management.
• Manage a high volume of cases effectively and efficiently.
• Regular court appearances, including hearings, motions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff on case preparation and strategy.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Maintain a high level of communication with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• 0 to 3 years of legal experience.
• Comfort with appearing in multiple courts regularly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated interest in practicing landlord-tenant and civil litigation.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member of the Indiana State Bar or eligibility to join.

Skills:

• Courtroom experience and ability to represent clients in hearings and trials.
