The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial litigation, with skills in managing litigation procedures, discovery, and e-discovery.

Duties

• Participate in all phases of business litigation, from initial filing to resolution.
• Handle cases involving complex commercial litigation matters, such as:
  • Consumer or shareholder class actions
  • Antitrust litigation
  • Merger and acquisition litigation
  • Securities litigation
  • Corporate governance disputes
  • Contract disputes
  • Business valuation disputes
  • Multi-district or multi-forum litigation
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Engage in discovery processes, including e-discovery.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and oral arguments as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on commercial litigation.
• Strong background in litigation procedures and discovery.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, and oral arguments is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Indiana State Bar.
