A prominent national law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Counsel to join its Indianapolis office. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned attorney with 6 to 10 years of litigation experience, preferably with a background in labor and employment law. The position offers the opportunity to work in a respected practice dedicated to representing management clients in a range of employment matters.

Duties

• Represent management clients in employment-related litigation and counseling

• Handle complex litigation matters including depositions, motion practice, and hearings

• Advise clients on employment policies, workplace practices, and compliance issues

• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and case strategies

• Work independently and collaboratively on large-scale legal matters

• Engage in business development and client relationship management as appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum 6–10 years of litigation experience

• Prior labor and employment law experience preferred

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Indiana

• Excellent academic credentials required

• Strong oral and written advocacy skills

• Ability to manage multiple client matters efficiently

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record

Certifications

• Admission to the Indiana Bar (active and in good standing)

• Deep understanding of employment litigation and workplace law

• Strong litigation skills, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
