A respected law firm based in Indianapolis, IN, is growing its civil defense litigation team and is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney. Duties:

• Handle a wide array of litigation matters from case initiation through resolution

• Represent clients in Indiana state and/or federal courts with minimal supervision

• Develop litigation strategies tailored to the needs and goals of each client

• Prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Conduct legal research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for case preparation

• Take depositions, examine witnesses, and present oral arguments

• Maintain and expand a book of business through networking and client development

• Collaborate with legal staff and partners to ensure timely and accurate case handling

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of active litigation experience

• Demonstrated success managing complex legal disputes

• Proficiency in Indiana Trial Rules and familiarity with both state and federal court systems

• Proven ability to independently manage a caseload

• Portable book of business with an interest in growing clientele

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license and good standing with the Indiana Bar
