Duties

• Handle trust and probate litigation, including will/trust contests, accounting petitions, trustee removal, and fiduciary-related disputes.
• Represent clients in elder financial abuse litigation.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
• Provide counsel in contested conservatorship and guardianship matters.
• Advise clients on trust and probate issues and disputes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in managing complex cases.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in trust and probate litigation.
• Proven experience in will/trust contests, accounting petitions, and fiduciary-related disputes.
• Experience with elder financial abuse litigation.
• Ability to propound and respond to discovery.
• Experience in conducting and defending depositions.
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills, including petitions and motions.
• Experience in contested conservatorship and guardianship matters is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the relevant state bar (e.g., California Bar, if applicable).
