Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Springfield, MO, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney. This role involves representing clients in family law matters, providing strategic legal guidance, and advocating for their best interests in court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent client communication, and a passion for family law.

Duties:

• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Interview and prepare witnesses for testimony
• Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all legal documentation
• Handle all aspects of assigned cases, from inception to resolution
• Perform administrative duties related to case management

Requirements:

• Active Missouri law license
• Experience in family law preferred
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Effective courtroom advocacy and litigation experience
• Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management software
