Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a mid-level litigation associate with a strong foundation in commercial disputes, particularly those involving trials or arbitration proceedings. The position is available through a legal recruitment agency representing the hiring law firm.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including complex trials and arbitration hearings

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal memoranda

• Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research

• Prepare for and participate in trial and final hearing advocacy

• Interface with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams

• Manage case strategy, deadlines, and litigation timelines

• Support partners with high-stakes litigation and arbitration strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or arbitration

• Demonstrated success in trial and/or arbitration hearing involvement

• Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

• Proficiency in discovery and legal research processes

• Ability to manage complex caseloads with minimal supervision

• Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for prompt admission

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Preferably ranked at the top of the class or graduated from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

• Florida Bar admission (active or pending eligibility required)

• Federal clerkship experience is a plus
