Retirement Plan Coordinator
The candidate coordinates enrollments and orientation in multiple retirement plans for newly eligible employees and partners; ensures elections are recorded in the HR payroll system. Coordinates the preparation and distribution of quarterly retirement statements. Processes beneficiary and other requested plan changes. Assists employees with questions and processes regular distributions, hardship distributions, required minimum distributions and in-service distributions. Coordinates Investment Committee meetings with investment committee members, investment consultants, fund managers, the record keeper, the actuary, ERISA counsel and others. Maintains minutes of Investment Committee meetings as approved by the investment committee. Coordinates with actuary and ERISA counsel on plan amendments; changes and potential changes in pension laws. Ensures that all enrollment memos, salary reduction agreements, beneficiary forms and distributions forms are maintained in our imaging system. Coordinates the annual audit of retirement plans. Coordinates the annual retirement plan education seminars. Coordinates with actuary regarding defined benefit plan-related issues. Prepares the bi-monthly pension wires for transmission to Schwab Retirement Services. Sets up the monthly direct deposits for partners" draw payments. Assists in the annual preparation of tax-related schedules. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required. Should preferably have 3+ years of retirement plan experience, be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and possess knowledge of UKG HRIS.
