Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans and budgets.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of practice experience.
• Prior insurance defense experience is encouraged.
• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey licensure is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent.

• Bar admission in Pennsylvania.
