A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience to join its Chicago, IL office. This position offers the opportunity to handle a diverse range of civil litigation matters involving complex topics and sophisticated clients.

Duties

• Manage civil litigation cases, including commercial, professional liability, and products liability.
• Handle construction defect, insurance defense/coverage, and workers compensation matters.
• Engage in class actions, torts, breach of contract, breach of warranty, and personal injury cases.
• Collaborate with a national practice team on complex legal matters.
• Assume responsibility for client interactions and case management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in IL.
• Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Motivated to work in a busy national practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
