Duties

• Handle loan origination work for large, structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Manage asset management and workout matters for real estate finance transactions.
• Lead transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing stages.
• Perform secondary market repurchase facility work and implement other exit strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate finance law.
• Large law firm background.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions independently.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s).

Skills

• Expertise in structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Proficiency in loan origination, asset management, and transactional work.
